Overview: The Division of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) regulations are codified in Division 4 and 4.5, Title 15 of the California Code of Regulations. The DJJ shall adopt, amend, and repeal regulations that are lawful, enforceable, and appropriate for accomplishing the duties and functions of the DJJ as established by the Welfare and Institutions Code, commencing with Section 1710.
Each regulation shall be within the scope of the DJJ’s authority and adopted in accordance with standards prescribed by the Administrative Procedures Act and other provisions of law.
Public Participation: The DJJ invites the public to submit comments regarding changes that are pending in our regulations during the announced public comment period. You can do this in several ways:
